Zinc
Zinc
Zinc sheet with thicknesses ranging from 0.7mm to 3mm is laser cut by us.
Zinc sheet is matte grey in appearance. It is frequently utilized in the production of sheet steel pressed items in the construction industry, including washing machines, air conditioners, and vehicle bodywork. Without a second protective finish, Zinc shouldn’t be utilized in corrosive situations.
When compared to tougher steels, mild steel is easier to mill and easier to weld, both to itself and to other kinds of steel. This makes mild steel a common material in construction. The finish it develops is lovely, and it may be polished. In contrast to higher carbon steels, it cannot be toughened by heat treatment techniques.
Zinc sheet can be used to create sheet metal work if it will later be powder coated since the protective zinc layer serves as an undercoat.
